Handbook for generic InP-based PIC design
JePPIX partners are working on a comprehensive Handbook for InP-based PIC design, which is tailored to the technology available at the JePPIX InP foundries.

The Handbook contains a general introduction in InP-based PIC technology and is divided in three parts:

  • basic knowledge about Guided Wave Propagation, Semiconductor Physics, Fabrication Technology, Simulation Methods, Design Tools, Measurement and Characterization, and Test, Assembly and Packaging.
  • chapters about the most important Basic Building Blocks
  • information on a number of Composite Building Blocks.

The book is under construction and completed for about 50%. Missing chapters will appear in the coming years. The finished chapters can be downloaded in the table below.
